Welcome to pukeymcpukerson.com — home of Pukey McPukerson, Barfley the Dog, Snotty Nora and the Gunk Gang. Hilarious chapter books, slime science, free printables, games and zero boring pages. Perfect for reluctant readers!
Pukey McPukerson was born in 2016 when teacher-turned-author Milo Splat noticed his 3rd graders would read ANYTHING if it had boogers in it. So he wrote the grossest, kindest, funniest book he could — and kids went bananas.
I'm 9, I'm Irish-ish, I have a dog named Barfley who farts thunder, and a best friend Snotty Nora who can shoot a booger 12 feet. Together we save Pukeyville from boring homework, broccoli monsters, and Principal Stinkbottom.
Short chapters, cliffhangers every 4 pages, comics + text hybrid. Designed with literacy coaches for reluctant, ADHD and ESL readers.
Pukey always apologizes, cleans up his puke, stands up for weird kids, and learns to brush his teeth. Eventually.
Free 40-page educator guides, quizzes, no swear words, no mean humor. Just glorious, harmless bodily-function comedy.
Collect them all! Each book works standalone but gets funnier in order. Hardcover, paperback, audiobook narrated by a guy who can burp the alphabet.
